Location of vineyards:
Calvagese della Riviera and Muscoline; low hilly region (260 m.), cultivation in respect of the ecosystem. Pruning of the arch-shaped vines. Produced from following grapes: Groppello, Barbera, Sangiovese, Marzemino. Manufacturing: Red grapes are processed with total carbonic steeping in special stainless steel vats, the musts are then fermented under rigorous temperature control. Thanks to the complete maceration of grapes,this special and delicate wine can be perfectly stored for at least 12 months. Remarkable underwood scents (raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant). Organoleptic Test: - Colour: bright red, with purplish tones; - Perfume: an intense fruity bouquet, with hints of rose, strawberry and cherry; - Taste: dry, but perfumed, fresh, cheerful; - Alcohol content: 12 °. Gastronomy: - Qualified as: a soft red; - Accompanies: local croutons, Pasta with different sauces and ovencooked pasta, vegetable flans, poultry, soft cheeses, roast chestnuts, dried fruit; - Serving temperature; uncork the bottle just before serving; if drunk in summer, we recommend placing the bottle in the fridge for at least an hour. It doesn’t like ageing. Number of bottles produced annually: 20.000 (at the mosts). Perfect with mushroom risotto, vegetable pies and raw meat carpaccio; tasty with stockfish, excellent with roasted chestnuts and chestnut-pie “castagnaccio”. Sold in either 6 or 12 bottle box packaging.
