Chiaretto Valtenesi
Location of vineyar:
  • In Calvagese della Riviera; middle hill (260 m). Cultivation with eco-environmental systems.
  • Growing method: spurred cordon.
Produced from following grapes and processing: 
  • Groppello (65%), Marzemino (25%), Sangiovese (10%)
  • Red grapes undergo the white process after a short maceration of the skins; the musts are fermented in steel vats at controlled temperatures.
    It is bottled (according to specification requirements) not before February 14 (Valentine’s Day, Feast of Love) in white glass bottles in order to appreciate its typical bright pink.

Organoleptic Test:
  • Colour: bright pink with shades of cherry- pink;
  • Parfume: fine, with intense fruity bouquet, with fresh aromatic touch
  • Taste: dry, with slightly salty bottom and sour in the throat
  • Alcohol content: 12,5 %
Ideal with:
  • Description: dry rosé, only from red grapes worked in white
  • Accompanies: cold cuts, croutons and pasta with ragu of fresh water fish, fried vegetables and seafood, grilled fish and fruit tarts
  • Temperature: serve very cold, 10-12°C, uncork the bottle at the time and place it in a bucket with ice
